Ken Parish is a lawyer of some 30 years experience, in both private legal practice and academia. He was senior partner of Waters James McCormack, one of Darwin’s larger legal firms in the 1980s and early 90s, and acted for major banks and insurers, Aboriginal land councils and trade unions. Ken predominantly practises in administrative/public law, employment/industrial law, and general commercial litigation.
He was a Member of the NT Legislative Assembly for almost 4 years in the early 1990s, holding numerous economic portfolios in the then Labor Opposition.
Ken has been a legal academic at Charles Darwin University for the last 13 years, with research areas in public law (constitutional and administrative law) and teaching & learning theory and practice. He devised and developed CDU’s pioneering online law degree program during his 13 years as an academic. He has taught most of the young lawyers now working with him at Parish Freer.

Jenny currently acts as the firm’s conveyancing and paralegal clerk in Darwin. She is a final year law student at Charles Darwin University and has worked for some 18 years as a high school English, drama and dance teacher in both private and public schools. She holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Applied Linguistics degrees.
Robyn, originally from Melbourne, moved to Darwin in 1997 after a number of years working in the Entertainment/Hospitality industries in Japan and Micronesia. She joins the Parish Mcculloch Team with a strong background in front office management & administration, customer service and bookkeeping gained from her many years working in the hospitality industry predominantly with the Halikos Group.
